We are objectively at the level of good refineries in Europe and asia. This is not an unfounded statement, this is evidenced by the corresponding index of our enterprises, which is calculated as the ratio of the actual energy consumption of the plant to the energy consumption of the average global refinery in a similar configuration. According to this coefficient of energy efficiency, all refineries in the world are compared.

Green energy

We are absolutely serious about developing our own green energy. Of course, 1 MW of a solar power plant at the Industry is not very much. But this is less of an economic project, and more of a testing ground for technology. The year of operation allowed us to develop a number of optimal technical solutions for Kazakhstan, which we plan to use in the future.

We plan to increase the capacity of the solar power plant to 20MW. The use of an energy storage system in this project will increase reliability of power supply of factory installations from own generation. In addition, we intend to implement several pilot projects for the use of renewable energy at our assets in addition to refineries. An analysis of about 80 sites has already been carried out, which allowed them to be divided into groups according to the degree of prospects of renewable energy projects.
